Some time ago on my other blog I showed some of a book I have been working on for a couple of years now. It began when my grandson was having bad dreams. I wanted it to have the illusion of texture and so began to make collages on the pages opposite the text. I am not happy with some ( many) of them. I cannot draw. So what I need is a collaborator. At first I thought I would try to find an illustrator, but then I would lose the look I've been envisioning.
Today it struck me. I need a mixed-media collage artist who can draw. Maybe one of you fabulous people from etsy who could illustrate the book with your work.
Let me know. Maybe it will so amazing we could publish it....

I see we think alike! There is nothing more special to a kid then having his very own book, especially if it has his picture in it. You could try collage over an old book which is what I did. It is so much fun, especially if you already have the story in your head!
I am almost finished with the text- it is in verse...ihope to finish it before he goes to college.
